Hotel Sin Nombre

I was disappointed by my stay at Hotel Sin Nombre. From a service, standard, and operational standpoint, this hotel is an absolute mess. On top of that, the rooms are extremely small. The bathroom is a tight squeeze making it uncomfortable to move around the room in general. On top of that, the hotel doesn’t offer basic amenities like there is hardly any storage to store things. The cleanliness is so poor. I saw there was this gross looking stain on the shower wall which could have easily cleaned off but it was there the whole 3 nights we stayed. I doubt the house keeping actually do any cleaning other than making the bed and Tiding up some things laying around. Also, they put us in a room right by the entrance/reception. We asked if they can give us another room because I knew it would be noisy during the night and it was so loud from other walking by and I hardly slept during my stay there.They offered as a room which was $150 additional on top the the room had booked which was $360 we knew the hotel wasn’t fully booked up. We hardly saw ppl at the hotel. Every time we went to the restaurant. It was always me and my husband in the entire restaurant eating. I couldn’t sleep I kept hearing ppl going in and out speaking so loudly at 1 am ,2 am. Also they keep the hotel super dark to the point it’s unsafe. I hardly couldn’t see where the heck I was going and thought I would go and numb my head somewhere. One thing to keep an romantic ambience and another thing when the place looks pitch black.Lol There are much better hotels in the area that you can stay at. Don’t be fooled by these reviews. The restaurant menu sucksssss. These reviews really got me.

Firstly, this hotel is beautiful and in a great location, next to all the street vendors and near the famous market. The staff are incredibly accommodating- especially Perla and Dalia - who gave us unlimited filtered water, gave us a late check out when our flight got cancelled, and when there was loud construction on one of the nights, let us relocate our room to something more quiet. The only thing about this hotel is that when we booked the hotel, the picture of the specific room we wanted was different than what was available.

Can’t say much about actually staying here, but the space is gorgeous and we had a lovely afternoon on the rooftop by the pool. The food was incredible and beautiful, mezcalitas perfection, and a really nice staff. Come here to enjoy the pool with a very reasonable minimum to spend at the restaurant, while relaxing and cooling off!

I went to the roof top bar that was here. The staff here was so attentive and eager to share good recommendations and guide us through the menu. We met the chef and one of the managers. They were so kind, shared wonderful details about Oaxaca with us. The food was fantastic. The drinks were phenomenal. I literally can not even start with the decore here, it’s so classy and tasteful. You need to come here as soon as possible because I guarantee within the next five years you won’t be able to make a reservation here. My biggest gripe is that I’m leaving Oaxaca tonight and won’t be back for at least another year. Even the bathroom was immaculately designed, very upside down ala stranger things.

An artsy, cool little hotel. Rooms are small but beautifully and sustainably appointed. The white lounging area is a peaceful place to work or read or drink coffee, and the roof terrace / tiny pool is super refreshing on a hot day. Plus there always seemed to be great music playing — one night a jazz trio, live piano as we checked in, good playlists the rest of the time. Two considerations: the rooftop doesn’t seem accessible for anybody with mobility concerns, and there’s sexy art everywhere — lots of lady parts. Would definitely stay again :)
